About

Helping families prepare smarter, live calmer, and save more.

Hi, I’m Chris – creator of Project Prepared

A few years ago, I started looking for simple ways to make family life feel a little more organised, a little less stressful, and a lot more secure.

Between work, kids, and the constant feeling of “never enough time”, I realised that being prepared isn’t about stockpiling – it’s about systems that make everyday life run smoother.

That idea became Project Prepared – a calm, family-first approach to modern preparedness.

My goal is to help you create small, practical habits that protect your time, your money, and your peace of mind.

Our Mission

Project Prepared exists to make preparedness simple, sustainable, and family friendly.

We focus on what really matters – food, home systems, energy use, finances, and mindset – and break it down into small doable steps.

Because being ready isn’t about fear – it’s about freedom.

When you have practical systems in pace, you spend less time worrying and more time living.

The Five Pillars of Project Prepared

Every guide, blog post, and book fits within these five pillars – together they form the foundation for confident, resilient living:
